In order to protect the active and complex formula contained in Morning & Night, we have to use a robust casing to ensure the ingredients and nutrients do not degrade. Currently the strongest natural hermetic receptacle is bovine gelatine, which ensures we do not need to use preservatives. Bovine gelatine is animal collagen which offers nutritional benefits and melts easily in the stomach, releasing the ingredients inside. We will continue to look for a vegan alternative, but at present they are too fragile to house the formula.
