Due to being oil-based and not containing any water, our Skin Nutrients Cleansing Balm is free of any synthetic preservatives, as it is unable to develop bacteria. We would therefore advise you to keep the jar free of water - for example, not using wet hands to scoop out the product. It also contains Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, which helps to prolong its shelf life.
